New route to China-Pakistan economic corridor

With the organization and assistance of International Land Port of Gansu (Lanzhou), Shenzhen CIMC GOLD WIDE Technology Logistics Group has designed a regular freighter route from Lanzhou, China to Lahore, Pakistan. The route set sail at 00:15AM 03/Dec/2019, making its first flight with full load.

       The flight was contracted by Shenzhen CIMC GOLDWIDE Technology Logistics Group and operated by YTO Express Airlines. It fills the gap of China's all-cargo aircraft to Punjab, Pakistan. For the first time, a China Airlines all-cargo aircraft links to Pakistani town Lahore. This route takes full advantage of the core location of the modern Economic Silk Road and the starting point of the 'China-Pakistan Economic Corridor' to promote Gansu's outward-oriented economic development.

       Gansu Province is rich in agricultural products. Purple-skinned garlic, onions, lilies, potatoes, apples, white peaches, white melons, wolfberry, etc. are the industry's best products in Gansu Province. However, it has been suffering from the intensive local foreign trade environment and the inefficiency of geographical location deepening in the Northwest logistics sector. The opening of the regular cargo route from Lanzhou to Lahore has focused the perspective to a certain extent, saying goodbye to the history of foreign trade passages that must first pass through coastal ports or Beijing airports. The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is the core of the Great Belt and Road Initiative. The opening of the all-cargo flight from Lanzhou to Lahore is bound to become a business card for Gansu Province, which not only benefits the province but also radiates the surrounding provinces. A solid step has been taken to build the Lanzhou International Land Port Hub.
